Cicely J was born and raised in Vallejo California. Not only is she is a published author with the release of her debut non-fiction black men vs. White Men; the Black Woman’s Choice she is also the driving force and President of CRJ Publishing, LLC. Cicely is known for her straight forward approach to some of the most controversial topics thus she has been penned Miss Politically INcorrect in the literary industry. She has been writing since she was 8 years old and won many awards and certificates as a teen for creative writing. She is an instructor with “Writer’s Block”, a boot camp for up & coming authors and she is an awesome public speaker. Her next venture is hosting her own talk show ‘Blog Out Loud.’ Cicely has her BS in Legal Studies and is an ABA Certified Paralegal with over 5 years in the legal field. Cicely is the Executive Article Writer and Chief Editor for Glam Couture Magazine and she is a featured writer for ALIVE Magazine!

Andre Maxwell Jacob was born and raised in Coral Springs, Florida. His childhood aspirations were to be a professional football player. After a career ending injury in professional baseball he turned to his first love, writing. One day while hanging out with a friend Andre started writing what is now, And Then There Was Life! From the first sentence he knew he was onto something special. Never planning on publishing a novel, things just took off. 18 months later, from the time he typed that first single word he had now finally completed his first novel. After being introduced by a mutual friend to publisher Cicely Johnson they had their first telephone conversation which lasted almost 3 hours! From that moment they knew they had to solidify this publisher/writer relationship.   Jacob now lives in Houston, Texas but loves traveling to Portland, Maine and South Florida where he enjoys his private time with family and friends. When he’s not writing, Jacob devotes time to two charitable causes; child literacy and homeless programs. Hoping to one day donate 2 million dollars to public libraries and homeless shelters. Until then he will continue his dream of writing – one page at a time
